2, Working principle: A power device is used to drive a controllable airflow within a specially designed pipeline, allowing it to flow over a stationary model placed in the test section, simulating the motion of an actual object in still air. The aerodynamic forces acting on the model are measured, and the flow phenomena on the model's surface and surrounding areas are observed. Based on similarity theory, the experimental results are compiled into similarity criteria applicable to real objects. The test section is the core component of the wind tunnel. The flow field in the test section should simulate the real flow field, and its airflow quality—such as uniformity, stability (referring to the variation of parameters over time), and turbulence intensity—must meet certain standards. Wind tunnels are primarily classified according to the speed range of the test section. Different speed ranges correspond to different working principles, types, structures, and typical dimensions.
